Meet Your Therapist
Lisa Benson, LCSW-S, LICSW, CWC
Hi! Here’s a little about me!
I am a wife, mother, and adventurer! I enjoy traveling and being active. That is why wellness and physical health are an integral part of my therapeutic process.
I earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014. Since then, I’ve spent some time being a stay-at-home parent and have transitioned back and forth into the working world. I’ve previously worked in NY as a community-based therapist providing mental health services to families involved with CPS. I’ve also worked in a hospital setting as a social worker. I transitioned into private practice in 2020.
As your therapist, I am here to support you in your journey to become your best self. Along the way, I will challenge you, push you outside of your comfort zone at times, but do so in a caring way. I also would like to think I have a good sense of humor so you will certainly hear me crack a few jokes once in a while. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy working with my clients. And I look forward to seeing what we can achieve together.
